help with gigabyte mother board

Hi I thought I would have a go at building my own computer although I know very little about how it works so I bought a gigabyte ga-k8vt800 pro motherboard and installed it. As well as a floppy drive i have three optical drives, a DVD rom, a DVD rewriter and a CD rewriter but it will only let 2 optical drives run and does'nt even show the 3rd the motherboard has 4 IDEs so I thought I could use all 4 of them I would be eternally grateful if some one could tell me how I can get all 4 IDEs to function and so get all my drives working.
I also have 2 HDD which do work but i'd like to instal a third.
I look forward to any help or advice form anyone here,

Buy a PCI/IDE controller card this will give you an extra 2 IDE channels so you can hook up another 4 devices.
Make sure your power supply is up to powering all these extra devices.
