Help - flashing pixels on Camera

My Panasonic FZ45 has developed a fault whereby certain pixels flash black on the screen - not always in the same position. Does anybody know why this should be, please?

Maybe an over exposure warning if light areas are flashing, try taking two pictures of the same subject, one automatic and then switch to manual and reduce the exposure ...alB
