Hi can some one tell me how to .
I found a site that mixed the two together in what to do but its just confusing.

I can do Fat 32 no problem.

I started at FDISK
Enabled large disk support.
Deleted partition logical DOS drive.
Deleted primary DOS partition.
Hit enter at what primary partition do you want to delete.
Hit enter at volume label.
Are you sure Yes Enter
Deleted primary DOS.
Escape to continue.
Chose create logical DOS drive Enter.
Create primary DOS partition Enter.
Chose to use Max primary DOS Partition Enter. Restarted PC.
Started with CD ROM support.
A: Format.
Its something like that but whats different with Fat 16.
Im trying to load fist version of Win95 and it wont go withe the Fat32 the HD is 6.4.

You need to make partions on your drive that are 2GB or less. click here for the reason why. Then for FAT 16 just say No at 'Enable large disk support' because that's what makes it FAT 32.

Follow Eric10's suggestion. FAT16 at a max of 2Gb click here

you want to format as Fat 16 so you can install win 95...

I think I'm correct in saying that you'll have to restrict the partition size to 2 Gig...

The problem is that you ARE enabling large disc support... If I've got this right, (and I fully accept I may not have, so do wait for corrections!), by doing this you are "forcing" it to format as FAT 32...

I think what you need to do is NOT enable large disc support and partition the disc into partitions no bigger than 2 gig...

I repeat that I'm open to correction!!

Good luck,

I had to go the Fat16 way no way would it load on 32, I think it was probly the first edition.

Win95 with USB was no problem on Fat32.

I think there is one other eddition of Win95.
Not sure if its the 13 floppy disc one or not.
