Help with Excel 2003 Please

  Evolution 12:28 17 May 05

Something odd has started to happen when I use Excel 2003.

If I attempt to sequence a cell or a range of cells e.g. sum(B2:B100), it is copying the cell I sequence from, rather than sequencing it throughout the range.

However, if I subseqently look at the cell formula, it has been correctly sequenced.

Highlighting the cell and then hitting enter produces the correct results but I have to do this with each individual cell to return the correct results.

This never used to happen.

Any ideas?

Check Tools>Options> the Calculation tab and ensure that Automatic is selected; this is not the first I have heard with these symptoms and I am beginning to wonder whether a recent update switched the calculation to Manual?

That was it.

Calculation setting was on manual.

A simple solution.
