Help Erasing Hard Drive

I've tried to erase the data on my hard drive prior to selling my old PC using killdisc. When I tried running killdisc it seemed to have frozen with o% completed so i stopped the task. However, now the PC comes up with a Windows boot error and I don't think the hard drive had been erased. How can I restart my PC and double check all the data on the hard drive has gone.

I'm writing this on my new PC which is Windows Vista and does n't have a floppy drive, so creating a boot disc is out of the question.

Thanks

As you have started with Killdisk the boot process has been damaged.

You can remove the harddrive and connect to the current pc or use a caddy to see if the data has actually been erased.

or try running Dban click here

Killdisk should be run from a floppy disc
