Help with DVD burning please.

I am trying to burn DVDs using MyDvd but whenever I select a file it keeps saying 'could not complete the last command because: No video decoder available for this stream type. (DVDErr, -47003)'. How do I overcome this please? I have had my rewriter a week and still havent burnt a disc yet. This is doing my head in!

Yes they all play but I cant burn them to disc to play on my home dvd player.

are you useing the correct discs for your DVD burner

Yes, but it won't even let me get that far. I have an 8x RW so I have bought 8x DVD+R discs.

Checked the myDVD site to see if there is an update for 4.5

have you tried capturing a brand new file useing myDVD and then trying to burn it.I have looked on the myDVD site and if you type in your error number 47003 and do search it gives you info that may help you. There is a possibility that the files you already have, have the wrong codec if they are Divx related.Regards
