Help with DHCP server!!

I primarily work off of my laptop computer, but occasionally need to use my desktop. The desktop worked fine two weeks ago, but now it always says "limited or no connectivity" and I cannot connect to the internet. It says that its connected, but when I try to renew the IP address to solve my problem, it says "unable to contact your DHCP server". I have no idea how to fix it. My laptop, as well as two other computers in the house work just fine with the wireless network.

Usualyy shutting down all the computers, switching off the router for a few minutes before rebooting it and finally rebooting each computer one at a time will resolve the issue.

As Taff™ has suggested, re-booting the router should sort things out.

If not, post back with the make and model of your router and your ISP.
