Help Configuring Outlook 2003

  six-h 20:37 24 Jul 09

I've set up Outlook with my ISP POP3 account, on my laptop and since I also use this account with my main PC, I wanted to set "Send/Receive" to leave a copy on the server when the Laptop collects mail.
Just can't find the option.
I'm sure it used to be available, or am I thinking of O.E. ?

The option is definitely there, but my copy of Outlook 2003 is configured for use with Microsoft Exchange Server so I can't check POP3 settings. From memory, "Tools > Email Accounts", "View or Change existing email accounts", highlight your POP3 account and click the "Change" button. Once in the settings for your account, click the Advanced settings button and the option to leave messages on the server should be in one of the tabbed sections in there.

mgmcc: Your memory is spot on!
Thanks so much, I'd never have found it there, it's well buried!
Just hope that my memory will one day improve to the standard of yours!!
