Help. Can't get mouse to work in Linux!

Hi, running linux mandrake 10 atm, but this mouse click here Which is usb, does not respond. My mouse which came with my wireless keyboard worked fine which is also usb, but i don't like using that. Can someone help please?

If your wireless kb and mouse were a set, I presume there was only one USB connection from the transceiver to a USB port for both. The driver wants mouse input from there. You can't have two mice; Linux is seeing a mouse that never does anything. If it was not wired like that, please tell us what was plugged into where.

right, my wireless mouse and keyboard which was a set is plugged into one usb port. My chic mouse is plugged into another usb port. They both work fine under windows, but the chic one doesnt work in linux.

if you really want to get the most from your linux distro then you really need to go to a specific linux forum i use click here
as they are really helpfull (a bit like here really) only Linux specific
