I have just set up the bt hub but this is the first wireless connection I have used, any one know if the BT hub is secure or if any one outside my house can pick up the signal, and if so how do I stop it.

I setup my BT HomeHub yesterday after using Bt 2091 router and yes I find it very secure although I use a stand alone firewall "Zonealarm" for extra security I would suggest you change the SSID to something else though other than the preset BTHomeHub_##### for a bit extra peace of mind enjoy.

I've had my BT Hub for 3 months now and no problems. On the back of the hub is the SSID and the wireless key number if you have entered these in your setup no other person can use your hub unless you give them the key number.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Also leave your hub swiched on for two weeks this lets it settle down and any updates are downloaded automaticly
