Help with Bluetooth please

  Rogerfredo 07:07 18 Nov 04

I have just purchased a HP IPAQ 2210 pda, and an MSI bluetooth dongle.
When I try to make a connection between the pda and my pc (running XP), I get the message (on the pc) that an attempt to connect is being made, and that I should click the window to proceed.
This then brings up a larger window on the pc, which is asking for a PIN number (part of the "pairing" security procedure?).
When any number is entered, and return is pressed, the pda "chirps" and the pda screen then asks for a "pass number".
The procedure times out after about 10 secs.
How do I find the 2 numbers required?
The pda connects ok using the cradle, and the only problem is with Bluetooth.

Thanks. This works. Why can't the instruction brochures carry this info?
