Have cleaned waste ink pads and put all together again but it will not print colour properly and will not print black.

Have tried all this but no joy. Where are the print heads located. perhaps it would just be as cheap to buy another printer.

I'm not familiar with the BJC300 printer (is it BJC300 or BJC3000?) but have you tried different (new) cartridges. On most inkjet printers the printheads are on the cartridge. If the cartrides are old or haven't been used in a while, the printheads might be clogged. Running the printheads under warm running water sometimes clears them, you might have to do it a number of times though.

It is the BJC 3000. I typed the wrong number.
The print heads are seperate.

Colour now printing but black still will not. Don't know how to solve this as I have tried every option

It may be the print heads need replacing but they cost more than you could buy a printer for.
I only use this printer as a standby.
Would anyone have a print head they no longer need for the BJC3000 to see if that is why it is not printing
