I fell victim to the dreaded 'about:blank'which took over my IE homepage and wouldn't let me get back to Google ... I now scan my HDD regularly with Spybot,Ad-aware and a-squared and each time Spybot reports the presence of 'DSO Exploit' .. I am then given the option to destroy, which I take, but the blighter is back when I next boot my machine ...has my BIOS or registry been infected?? if so how can I restore/repair??

It is a bug in Spybot, don't worry.

latest version of spybot has corrected the dso bug

hello VoG™ how are you?

Evening stalion :o)

Steve M - In Spybot, Mode/Advanced Mode. Click on Settings, then on Settings again. Tick Display available Beta versions. This will get you the latest version with the bug fixed.
