Hi All,

I am implementing a free internet cafe for a hospital, but the keyboard and mouse always get vandalised. I have seen some heavy duty keyboard some where on the public areas where internet access is give (something in a shopping mall) and have that kind of heavy duty keyboard and mouse (the lock down type).

Does anyone know where i can get them from?

many thanks.

Try looking here:-

they specialise in keyboards for kiosks, etc. They have a line of vandal resistant keyboards and also metal keyboards with a built in trackball.

Hope this helps

You could alway's consider placing a PCI Video Capture card into a machine & record what people get upto. Clearly state that people caught maliciously using the equipment will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. £140 quid will buy you a security camera & revelant PCI card.
