Headers and footers in web page printouts

I know that it is possible to get rid of the headers and footers that appear on printouts of web pages. However I've forgotten how to do it. Anyone out there can point me in the right direction?

Either look for "printer friendly version" or select what you want to print by highlighting it "Hold mouse button down and drag" the in print option use "Print selected"

In Internet Explorer, File/Page Setup and clear the Headers and Footers boxes.
