Hello everyourgently need help pleaze.
My COmp was playin up so i opened up the HDD and put it back on again but i connected the power connector the wrong way round. When i turned on the computer, it turned off immediatley and a smell came.
I then realised that my HDD's power cable was put on the wrong way round.
I took it off and the comp was then working fine (got another HDD working fine).
Now the problem is that i got all my documents inthe HDD and they are very important.

I had a little solution, somewhat very risky. I was thinking of buying an excat one again and replace the chip board and see if that would have any effect.
But i do need advice from evryone here.

or if thats not possible that where can i go to recover my files in the chepeast possible method.

Thank Youy
