i have a server board with a scsi u160 built-in now my 36gb segate u160 hard drive died with no warranty, seagate is not making 36gb u160 hd anymore, can i use the hd seagate 36gb u320 on my board with the same cable connection? knowing that i will only get the u160 speed .

in theory yes, inpractise it may not be so simple you may be better off to buy a new controller card as well.

have you scoured the net for u160 drives, they are not that dated.
