Having troubles updating BIOS

I am having trouble updating the BIOS on my Tiny A360+ Notebook. The notebook's internal fan is not coming on, and so the laptop is switching itself off to stop from overheating.

The fan is controled by the ACPI BIOS. It should be BIOS version 1.0C, but it is BIOS version 1.0B. So I have tried updating it, but when I use the update software (which I downloaded from FIC, the motherboard manufacturer's website)I get a message that says:

"Open failed on BIOS ROM image file"

Anyone got any suggestions as to how to get round this?

Cheers

Matt

That's the Overclockers Motherboard forum where the flash their bios on an hourly basis it seems to me!

No-one seems to be able to help you here. Try posting there (you'll need to register).

They are damn helpful, but the more info you give the better the response.

I know you have a notebook, and they are PC power freaks, but I think they'll still help :)
