Having problems clearing CMOS on a Gigabyte 6WMM7

I am trying to shift a password lock out on a Gigabyte GA-6WMM7 Motherboard. I have used the jumper to clear and it still password protects you out of the CMOS/BIOS and also I have removed the Battery on the Motherboard for around 3-5 mins and it still won't clear.

I have also noticed that on occassions when booting to desktop in ME the Clock comes up saying Adjusted Windows Daylight setting is theclock correct etc. This is the same as when the Summer time ends dialog box I keep putting it back and applying the change and it comes back saying time is wrong about every 5 boots.

I suspect the motherboard to be faulty with it doing these odd things, has anyone seen this happen before or could confirm it to be a fault with the Motherboard.

Alternatively flash the bios.
