  Jonah1000 13:33 13 Apr 03

Hi, Can anyone help... I have Just got Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. I have tried to access the extra credits using InterActual Player but I keep getting a Error Message
" An error has occurred in the script on this page",
Line 35,
Char 2,
Error "Object doesn't support this property or method"
Code 0,
URL file://E:\common\win\lang\en\index.htm

Is there a patch for this, I've tried the InterActual Website and Microsoft Website and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
Please Help. Many Thanks

Have you tried the DVD on another computer? If so, it could be the DVD itself.

I'll try my DVD tomorrow to see if I get the same error and I'll let you know.

When trying to access the Extra Credit section, you encounter the following script error:
An error has occurred in the script of this page.
Line 67
Char 2
Error: object doesn't support this property or method.
Code 0
Url: file://E:\common\win\harrypotter\menu_lang\english\voicecomp.html

This error can be caused if the features from disc 2 have not been installed. You need to run the installer from Disc 2. You should get the Play/Close InterActual Player prompt when you reinsert the disc. If you do not, then you must Explore the directory of the DVD and double click the Install.exe icon.

from the above link

I just got an e-mail from InterActual-- "InterActual has been getting reports of script errors in the UK version of Harry Potter And
The Chamber Of Secrets. We have not been able to reproduce this error in our testing labs with this version of the Harry Potter discs."

They are lookong into this, but also advise to get a firmware upgrade for my DVD-ROM and try it.
What is a firmware upgrade and where do I get it??

My DVD-ROM drive is a COMPAQ DVD-ROM DRD8120B.

Hope you can help.
