Hi,

I'm currently looking into upgrading my system and wondered if there was and programs that will list what I have already and possibly something that will allow me to see my maximum capacities e.g max HDD size and max memory size etc

Thanks :)

Everest click here

and Belarc click here

will give you details of your system.

You will need to look at the motherboard spec to find out the maximum memory.

As far as HDD then this will come down to BIOS version and O/S.

No limit problems with XP SP2 only W9x

Thanks guys....Used Belarc and for my memory got this...

512 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot 'A0' has 256 MB
Slot 'A1' has 256 MB
Slot 'A2' is Empty
Slot 'A3' is Empty

Last time I opened the unit there was only 2 slots both with the 256 chips....am I missing something?

am I missing something?

These program don't always get their info correct - if you see only two slots, then you have only two slots, whatever a program tries to tell you.
