Hard Drive for old Laptop

  Pamy 17:51 07 Jun 03

can anyone tell me what the largest size hard drive an old Toshiba Tecra700CT laptop can have?
The one in it at present is only 1.12Gb and I would like about 6Gb if possible. Also does anyone know who sells them?
regards, Pamy

You need to know the form factor size - Probably 9.5 but check you manual.

You may need to ring Tochiba Tech and ask them

If you can change try this link click here

if you go to click here links from that webpage will give you secifications & technical info for your laptop. any eide 2.5 inch harddrive should fit. but if you use one with a larger capacity than your bios will allow you will need to use a bios overlay such as ontrack bios overlay. this program is available as a download from hard drive manufacturers websights such as click here
