Hard Drive Crash

My work HD crashed last week. Our IT Support have had a look at it and they havent been able to save the data.

I wondered- is there a specialist company i can send it to so i can give it another go!?
If so, how much might it cost?

There are a few but they tend to start from £250 upwards and the sky is the limit...click here

It might not be the best time to point out that an external HD is a much cheaper option.

Not a very good company then if the IT Support department do not do backups of the system????

well im not going to comment on that- cos i do feel somewhat aggrieved!

i should have backed it up myself. i know that, but i havent been provided with space to do so.
