Hard Drive compression

I have just been clearing all the rubbish off my PC running XPHome. I have 57.4GB spare on my HD, am I right in assuming that I don't need to compress my drive. I don't do anything that takes up loads of room.

You can give me the extra 57Gb if you want - I wish I had that much spare :-)

Seriously, after clearing of the rubbish you could look at a defrag - that will help performance. Other than that, if it is running fine, then I would not worry.
