Hard drive clone XP from ME , possible ?

  pub 18:01 31 Mar 07

I,ve just been given an old computer, 5GB hd,128mb RAM,and a Pentium 2 processor. Not exactly state of the art. However,it is running XP.I have another computer with a 40GB hd,Celeron processor,512 RAM running ME.What I would like to do is to clone the XP onto ME if possible. Can this be done and what is the easiest way to do it ? The XP is a proper version and was being used on the internet until a month ago.Thanks.

What you'll have to do is re-install XP onto the new drive (40GB) using the XP installation disk. Cloning the XP disk from the old 5GB drive onto the 40GB drive and expecting it to work on the new PC wont work. XP must be running like treacle with only 128 MB of RAM.
