Hard Drive Cleanup

My 20 GB hard drive is over half full and I'd lile to erase some of the installed programs not in use. Can anyone explain in simple terms how I should go about this or would it be easier to install a bigger hard drive? Thanks to all

add/remove progs, link shows you how.

Installing a second HDD would be an idea, use the 20gig for O/S and stuff, put all other progs/files/folders on second HDD.
second HDD can also be used for BACK-UP (most important)........

If you don't fancy installing an internal drive, there are many good external hard drives available these days, often 10 times more space than your 20Gb and between £80 to £120 or so. I am sure our members could come up with some recommendations if you ask. You could leave the present drive to deal with Windows and use the extra drive for your programs, data etc..
