My desk top is getting ancient and I want to add more photo's
Is there a load capacity on the Hard Drive that I should keep below.
At present I have used 9.5 GB from a total capacity of 37.2 GB
Thank you

You can use up to approx 22Gb without any problems, the rest would be required by the System for Restore Points etc.

Thank you very much Technotiger for your very quick response.
That should give ample space

To avoid loosing your photos, copy them to a memory stick as well You can get decent size ones from play.com

Thanks for the advice Andsome
I actual travel a lot and using a lap top down load the pics to memory sticks into folders
I then copy them to my desk top using Picasso keeping the originals on memory sticks
Yes sticks are cheap just bought 8GB for £8.99 from Amazon delivery included
