This has just started happening and it is abit annoying. I've done a search but can't find anything particular to this problem.

Any ideas? I'm running WinXP sp2, amd xp1600+ processor and nothing new has been installed that I know of.

Have you checked All proggrammes>start up?

Have you used tweakui or any other power toy?

I haven't used tweak ui.
The start up folder shows Adobereader7 and something to do with my dvd ram drive.

Put your XP cd in the drive, and type " sfc /scannow " Your explorer.exe has been corrupted, and needs repairing.I found this happened on my PC when I was altering the text/colour of the XP " start " button, until I did EXACTLY as was detailed on another forum.

I don't have an XP cd that I know of. It's an Evesham PC
