I add a second hard drive (40 gb)to my friends computer he has windows 98,I configured it as a slave.I formatted the new drive but when I open window explorer the new drive shows 4 gb.How can I provide full utilisation of the space on the hdd?
with an old pc the bios may not know about drives with large sizes. You may have to update the bios but you could try downloading the drive setup prog from its makers site.
