I am looking to add another hard drive, I have seen some but some say 120G with 8mb cache and some 120G with 2 mb cache, what is the cache and would i see a real difference between the two??

Hi, in theory 8mb faster, but I doubt you would notice the difference. Cheers.

Hi again, in my opinion, one is as good as the other, like most things it is personal choice. If I was to name just one, I would say Sygate (think that's how it is spelt). Whatever you get it should have minimum speed of 7200revs.

More Cache does not make the drive run faster,it simply means that there is less chance of write errors.Go for 8mb and things will be fine.
Lacie drives are excellent.I bought a 250gb firewire drive for £125 at dabs.
Hope this helps,
Gazza.
