Hard disk failed x 3 possibly after playing games?

Hi,I bought a laptop in May 2005 (Fujitsu Amilo A 7640)It worked perfectly up until Christmas 05 when the hard drive failed, blue screen with the message 'dumping physical memory' came up. This has happened twice since. Fujitsu have repaired it, replacing HD and mainboard and cables.

The only common denominator is that prior to failing, my son has been playing Runescape, an online game. I'm now concerned that this might be causing the problem, and if so how can I make sure it doesn't happen again. He plays the game on our desktop too but we haven't had any problems.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

The only thing I can think of is that if this is a memory intensive game, then the hard drive may be working hard to provide virtual memory. If I'm right then more memory could be the solution.

I can't think that playing a game on a laptop could kill the drive, unless the drive is running so hard that it over heats.

The most likely answer is a batch of dodgy drives at the fujitsu repair centre.
