I would like to clone my hard disk.
Is it possible to use Ghost to do this so that if my HD fails I can just install the cloned disk and then back to normal again.

You can use Acronis True Image or Nporton Ghost ot clone a disk but you normally only clone a disk when you want to repalce the original disk with a new one.

The preferred way is to make an Image of the main drive onto the second drive. This is a compressed file that ontains the contenets of the first file. This can be restored in a few minutes if anything goes wrong.

I make a daily Image with Acronis True Image. Takes less than 5 minutes to make and the same time to restore. If my main disk dies i can buy a new one and just restore the image staright back into the new disk - even if it is bigger.

I agree with above, suggest Acronis TI in preference to Ghost
