Handhelds and MS Outlook

I'm thinking of buying a basic/budget PDA. My main benefit would be to download my Outlook diary from my office PC.

Can you basically do this on them all (or say on a cheap Sony Clie) or do you need to purchase additional software etc?

The various adverts for them seem a bit vague about the level of compatability with Outlook (perhaps that is deliberate?).

Any good advice greatly appreciated before I waste cash.

Thanks.

The Palm m105 comes complete with software that allows you to synchronize with Outlook and works very well.

Most these days will sync with Outlook without any problem, in the past I've had a casio pv-100 and a palm 105 both of which worked well with outlook 2k, now I am using a toshiba e-310, this also functioned with outlook 2k with no problem and I have finally got around to installing outlook 2002 which came with it, this also revealed no problem areas. Data is easily synched between the pda and all areas of outlook with a very simple initial setup procedure.
