Hi,

has anyone heard of a GUID (Global Unique Identifier)?

I work in a school and we have just installed 22 new pcs only to find they all have the same GUID!!! This is a problem when using RIS for operating system deployment!

The BIOS is AMI g317-m7. Does anyone know how to change the GUID?

I have seen this be done before with a utility called freeDos and amidmi, but this does not work with this version of BIOS!

**Flashing the BIOS does not work!**

Thanks!
