What is Guardian.exe? When I run my BT NetProtect Plus (mcafee) Programme I find that under its Traffic monitor that up to 34% of my Inwards and outwards Net Traffic usage is taken up by something called " Guardian.exe"

the Traffic usage breaks down as:
61% internet explorer (fair enuff)
34% guardian.exe (what in hells is it?)
3% host process for windows services
1% Java (TM) platform sE binary
1% remaining Programs

Im worried about this Guardian.exe thing..should I be ??

I run Windows Vista, use BT yahoo as an ISP, and its BT netprotect plus which it now uses in place of the Norton security that BT used before now.

any help on this one appreciated...Thanks

That was a bad site that ambria4 gave you so maybe watch what you download from it.

You could try the free version of Malwarebytes that gets rid of most problems.
