Green tinge on flat screen monitor

Hi, recently upgraded with a new motherboard ASUS A8NE, with a new video card Radion X800GTO too. Been working fine for past 5 days, but today every time i switch my PC on it is like looking through a green sweet wrapper, all looks green. I have re installed the drivers for the 3D card and it is still green. I have tried an old (bulky type) monitor which works fine.Seems coincidental that it has happened after installing a new 3D card, or could it be that the monitor is 2 years old and one of the first type, and is kaput? Can anyone advise please?
Thanks

If you are really sure the new card is properly seated and connected, then try the old one back again! Poor mechanical connection can do this.

'Sounds obvious but check if you can that your monitor works normally on someone else's computer
