hi all. on my dell laptop i have noticed that a number of pictures and olours have all turned a greeny colour as if it is not recognising the colour! people in pictures are a good example as most of them are completely green i the face. please help! should i reformat or send it back to dell?

Hi, if it is a recent purchase, I would return it to be fixed. Don't reformat, you would probably lose your warranty.

I'd make a backup to something external (HDD or DVD's) then contact Dell if it's under warranty.

Sounds like something wrong with the screen or the graphics. Might not be hardware, could be a driver issue.

If you have access to another (working) monitor, connect it to the graphics output of the laptop and see what the pictures look like on that. If they are OK, you know it's a screen problem ...if they still look wrong it is a graphics/driver problem.
