Graphics problems

At the moment I am having trouble with my graphics display. When trying to view a video it seems to jump. The seconds can be seen jumping forward throughout the video. I am running Windows 98SE with a Hercules 4000XT Graphics card. On checking the information about the Graphics card there was a comment that it was running in PCI mode when it should be running in AGP. I have checked the BIOS and the card is set to AGP.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to solve this?

properties to navigate your way to the Display settings see how many colours are displaying 16bit or higher. Then go into the Advanced tab and see if you can get your adpater setting to around 75hz if not already.

Look in devce manager to check there is no yellow excalmation marks, maybe your driver has been damaged or removed ?
