I'm looking to update my graphics card. How can I tell which card my pc will respond best with? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

BTW...

I'm on windows XP
Have an X86Family 15 model 4 stepping 1 genuine intel 3059 mhz processor.
1024mb memory.
Using a Geforce 6200 le graphics card.

From first look at your specs. I Don't think a GPU upgrade is going to be possible.

Might be worth considering a new mobo?

You need to know if your graphics card is agp or PCIe first. Download CPUZ and it will tell you. click here Then you can either buy an agp card or a PCIe card.

6200le i believe is an agp slot, click here is very good. click here is good also, either card with give a good improvement. but you will need a power supply of about 450 watts.

What needs a "a power supply of about 450 watts."?

the pc, the box at the rear top of your case that the mains cable goes into, would have to be about 400 watts for either card, should be a sticker on it. looks like click here

typo 450 watts

sorry just read through that and, well it sucks click here
