Graphics cards for a 300W PSU

I want to upgrade my graphics card from a nvidia geforce 6200 turbo cache, to the best card I can get for under £50 that is compatible with my 300W power supply. Most new cards seem to need 350W or more. I do not want to upgrade the PSU as well, nor spend more than £50 on a card as I plan on getting a new PC in 12-18 months. The purpose of the upgrade is to get better results on games such as Ship Simulator and Flight Simulator. The rest of my PC details are:

AMD Athlon 64 3500 2.19ghz with 1GB RAM

What is the best card I can get for this money that works with a 300W power supply? And would it be worth it in terms of game graphics improvement?
