Is a good graphics card essential for video editing? I will be running a dual core duo 2.2Ghz with 2Gb ddr2 800 ram.

A good video card is not essential for video editing in my opinion something like a 6200 would do as long as it didn't bottleneck things. I prefer even a cheap seperate graphics card over onboard graphics as onboard graphics doesn't tend to be that great.
