Graphics card replacement

  bobbyalec 23:35 26 Dec 03

I want to replace my GEForce 2 card with a much more powerful one. How do I set about removing the old and installing the new (not the physical bit - the technical stuff like uninstalling the old card)
Do I remove the card and THEN go through the uninstal process or viceversa? Is there anything I need to be especially careful of in the uninstal?
Thanks in advance for any help offered, also for help in the past.

1. If you can get into device manager, right click on yuor Graphics card n the list under Display adapters >

2. Then right click > Uninstall

3. Shutdown the PC....

4. Remove the old, in with the new.

5. When booted back up, install new drivers from disc provided.
