Graphics card power supply.

I have juat bought a Radeon X1650 PCI-E graphics cars and I have changed out my 300W PSU and fitted a 400W PSU with PCI-E power connection. My computer is a Compaq SR1619UK with an Amethyst M1.0 MoBo, 2 GHz Amd Athlone CPU and 2.5 GB RAM. When I studied the card to see where the power connection fits I couldn't find a connection. I have been told that the card gets it's power from the pins. I cannot whetre the power would be fitted on the Mobo or the carg. The only connection I can see is on the card and it is in use to supply power to the card fan. Any help please? Thank you.

It shouldn't need a separate power connector, just slot it in place with the power off.
