Graphics card with onboard HDMI audio ?

Struggling with this one !

I recently purchased a cheap GeForce 8400GS in order to link my XP Desktop to my 42" Plasma via HDMI-HDMI cable. Works great in terms of video but no sound.

I'm struggling to understand some of the complex debates on the internet but I THINK the conclusion is that the 8400GS does not output audio through HDMI without some cabling to the onboard audio ..... which is way beyond me !!!

Assuming I am right, what is the best Graphics Card option (quality/price) out there that has a HDMI port that outputs video AND audio without additional wiring ...... I just want to instal and go !

HD4350 click here I haven't tried the HDMI socket on mine but it should be fine. That particular model does run a but hot but you can zip tie a quiet fan onto it if you have poor airflow.

Check the maximum resolution for your screen to the specifications.
