Hi, I am just about to retire so I will have more time to mod my computer and do an upgrade etc. Better late than never to start playing a few games I thought, however money will be tight and I need a video card I don't want (or can afford) the latest cards or for that matter games, but I would like a card which doesn't make the whole process painfully slow! My computer consists of the following
2Gb memory
320Gb HHD
6550 processor
Intel Pearl Creek Micro ATX Mother Board
400Wt CPU
An suggestions on a card and also older games (I'm into Science Fiction) and where I could get them would make an old man very happy. Thanks Peter

256 memory 8600 gt £63 from scan.co.uk
deus ex and hostile waters £4-99 each from amazon. they work on xp don't know if they work on vista.
I presume you have a normal atx case with enough room to fit the card.

Hi, Thanks for the response, My wife had the computer put together as a surprise when my old PC died a nasty death. I have no idea why the constructor used a full tower case and a micro ATX motherboard, still they do some strange things here in Israel! Peter
