Graphics Card for Flight Sim 2002

I am considering purchasing a new graphics card for my computer, for Flight Simulator 2002. My motherboard is a ECS K7S5A, with a 4 x AGP slot, and my current Graphics card is Tornedo G-Force 4 MX440, 32Mb. Can anyone recommend a graphics card, that would improve my enjoyment. Prepared to spend up to £160.

down this road some time ago. Several other factors to consider like CPU power and RAM available. For what its worth, I upgraded my old PC to the max possible: AMD Duron 1.3, 512 SDRAM and Chaintech GeFORCE Ti 4200 and it still couldnt handle 2k2 with addon scenery any sense.

As a budget the FX 5200 is Ok.

But if you want more the Radeon 9600 or 9700 will do.

However you could spalsh out on a FX 5800 or a Ti4800, or even a Radeon 9800 Pro.

AMDXP+ 2200, 512MB DDR ram, I'm a regular user of flightsim 2002, with the sliders at max and a screen res of 1200 x 1024 at 32 bit I get about 15 - 20 fps in dense scenery areas, this drops at high speed, 300kts+. I get a marked increase it I switch off extended terrain textures.
