Hi everyone.

I have acquired a Dell Optiplex GX50, 128mg ram, 1.2Ghz Celeron.

I have got it for my 4 year old son. He likes to play games, not the latest mega 3D stuff, but stuff like action games, I'm thinking sonic etc and 2 to 3 year old games.

I know the optiplex is a corporate machine with graphics on board the mobo. Is there a graphics card, cheapish, that will fit into the desktop case of the Dell and be compatible with th system?

Any help that anyone could offer will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If it has an AGP socket you can get cards for that, just make sure you get the correct card for the socket version (agp 1x, 2x etc). If it has PCI sockets, you can probably still get cards.

Google will help

I take it the onboard graphics are insufficient ?
