Graphics adapter

I want to upgrade to Windows7 but Microsoft say my graphics adapter won't work. I have NVIDA GeForce 5500
Any suggestions,please

Have you tried updating the drivers?
Look in Device Manager and reinstall the drivers

I did a check as well and got a message that
AERO will not work!! And I have a snazzy new ati radeon HD4850 with 512 mb.

I think that refers to using the Aero interface only.
If you disable Aero then it should work fine.
