graphic card instalation

trying to install a radeon 9250 on a older dell xp machine. how do I get the old drivers off to install the new ones ? i am worried i will lose the whole screen !

Just install the new drivers, the "old ones" will be backed up incase u need to do a roll back.

Right click my computer,select properties. Click on the hardware tab and select device manager. On the list expand display adapters right click on your graphics card and click on uninstall. Follow the on screen prompts but when it tells you to reboot youy PC click on no then shut it down as normal. Swap the graphics cards and reboot,when the found new hardware wizard pops up cancel it and install the drivers from the disc supplied with your new card.
