GPU temp to high?

my system is rather old, Originally built in 05 and some upgrades here and there but I'm concerned that the graphics card is running to hot and I'm not at all certain what to do.

I want to be able to play WoW and Sims 3 without the screen tearing that I see now. I use speedfan to watch the temp and it claims the Graphics card is sitting at 54C idle, around 60-65C running WoW and 90+ running Sims 3.

I have a 2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core

Belarc Advisor lists the main circuit board as Board: click here AN8 Series(NF-CK804) 1.x
Bus Clock: 201 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 01/19/2006

and my graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT

Any help at all would be great! Thanks

Your temps seem ok. The 7800GT should be able to go up to around the 120°C mark before cutting off. That said, once they age a bit the thermal paste tends to become less effective. Unless it's causing isues (throttling back or crashing) then I don't think you have anything to worry about.
